This privacy policy describes how Affari AB processes personal data about existing or potential customers of Affari AB, representatives of existing or potential business customers of Affari AB, and of visitors to our website.

Data controller

Affari AB is the data controller for the processing of your personal data and is therefore responsible for ensuring that your data is handled properly and securely, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Affari AB collects and stores the following information about you that Affari AB needs in order to contact you and fulfil Affari AB's obligations to you as a customer.

  • Data that you provide to Affari AB as a company representative via email, our social media or through other communication channels.
  • Details regarding telephone conversations with Affari AB’s switchboard or customer services, if appropriate.
  • Details regarding food preferences, any allergies and/or physical disabilities (eg for the purposes of customer events or meetings), if appropriate.

Potential customers and representatives of potential business customers 

Affari AB may collect and store the following data about you in your capacity as a potential customer to Affari AB, or as a representative of a company or organisation that is a potential business customer. Affari AB needs such details to be able to contact you in your capacity as a potential customer, or as a representative of a potential customer to Affari AB, and to be able to fulfil the Company's obligations to you or the company (or organisation) that you represent.

Visitors to Affari AB’s website

When you visit Affari AB’s website we collect the following information about you that we need to be able to improve, make more effective, simplify and develop our website.

•    Technical information, such as your IP address, MAC address, URL, unique device ID, network and device performance, web browser, language and user ID settings, geographic location, operating system and other data from cookies or similar mechanisms (device information).

Affari AB uses technologies similar to cookies to enable us to provide certain functionality on the website, as well as to improve the website and deliver a better and more personalised service. From which sources do we collect information about you?

In terms of representatives of business customers and potential business customers, we generally collect your personal data from the company or organisation that you represent, but when appropriate we collect it directly from you, for instance via email, our social media or other communication channels, or in conjunction with company events or meetings. Affari AB may also receive personal data about you from the company’s other partners.  Further, Affari AB may use external information provider services if needed to supplement existing information, such as adding position and contact details.

If you are in contact with us as a consumer, we normally collect data from you directly, for example via email, our social media or other communication channels.

For how long do we keep your personal data?

Your personal data is kept for as long as there is a need for it to be kept in order to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected, in accordance with this privacy policy. Thereafter your data will be deleted.

Certain personal data will be saved for seven years in compliance with accounting laws, calculated from the end of the calendar year of the fiscal year to which the information pertains.

Contact details for company representatives is stored for as long as Affari AB deems it necessary to keep the information to be able to maintain the relationship with the company/organisation. The data will be deleted when Affari AB is made aware that it is no longer adequate or relevant for the purpose, or at the request of the contact persons.

To whom does the company provide personal data?

Affari AB does not provide personal data to third parties, with the exception of those situations when such data is required to comply with statutory obligations, or to fulfil the company’s obligations to you, customers and/or partners. Your personal data will not be sold to third parties for marketing purposes. 

Social media

In terms of the personal data that exists and is processed by social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube, we refer users to the information policies of the respective services to find out how they handle personal data. As far as Affari AB is concerned, the purpose of processing is for customers and potential customers of the company (or their representatives) to be able to interact with and contact us via social media.  This is to help build good relationships with customers and to make Affari AB’s customer services and products easily available through several different channels. Data processing is necessary for the company’s legitimate interest marketing of its brand and its products to existing and potential customers, as well as to partners (balancing of interests).

Your rights

In its capacity as the data controller, Affari AB is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable laws. 

Either at your request, or on its own initiative, Affari AB will correct, anonymise, delete or supplement data that is found to be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.

You have the right to request from Affari AB access to and correction or deletion of your personal data (for instance if such deletion is required by applicable laws), request a limitation to the continued processing of your personal data, and the right to object to processing under the conditions that applicable personal data acts allow (for instance if you question whether your personal data is correct or whether the processing is legal). Affari AB will notify all recipients to whom personal data has been supplied pursuant to the information stated above (To whom does the company provide your personal data?) of any corrections or deletions of the data, as well as limitations to processing of data that take place in accordance with this point (Your rights).   

You have the right to data portability, i.e. the right under certain conditions to receive your personal data in a structured, generally accepted and used machine readable format, and transfer it to another data controller. 

If you do not want Affari AB to use your personal data for direct marketing, you have the right to notify the company of this in writing, at any time. Once Affari AB has received your notification, the company will cease using your personal data for such marketing purposes.

Pursuant to a signed, written request from you to Affari AB, you have the right to receive a free report of the personal data that is recorded about you, the purposes for which it is processed and to whom the data has been or will be provided. You also have the right to receive information in the report about the envisaged period for which the data will be stored, or the criteria that are used to determine this period. Further, you also have the right to receive information in the report about your other rights as stated under this point (Your rights).

You are very welcome to contact us if you have any complaints regarding our processing of your personal data, so that we can amend our processing if necessary. You also have the right to file any complaints about Affari AB’s processing of your personal data to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

Protection of your personal information

You should always feel secure when providing us your personal data. Affari AB has therefore taken the security measures necessary to protect your personal data against improper access, change or deletion.  We will not provide your data to any other parties, other than as stated in this privacy policy.

If you do not provide your personal data to the company

If you do not provide your personal data to Affari AB, the company will not be able to fulfil its legal or contractual obligations to you. 

Amendments

Affari AB has the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. In the event of any amendments to this privacy policy, the company will publish the amended privacy policy on www.affariofsweden.com with information about when the changes take effect. Affari AB may also inform customers and partners, in an appropriate manner.
